The Board of Trustees approved a bond package with four propositions. Voters will be presented with this package on November 2 with early voting taking place October 18-29. As a result of Texas Senate Bill 30 passed this summer, certain projects must be presented as separate propositions to voters. Because of this new requirement, the 2021 bond package will include four propositions for voters to consider.

Proposition A
Growth & Reinvestment

Elementary School #19 to relieve Clear Spring and Freiheit Elementary
Elementary School #20 to relieve Morningside and Garden Ridge Elementary
Middle School #8 to address growth and relieve Pieper Ranch Middle School
HCCPHS Replacement site to allow for program/enrollment growth
The purchase of land for future schools
The purchase of 85 buses for growth and replacement of aging vehicles
Investment of $12.8 million in safety & security
Funds for Campus Infrastructure to address needs at various existing facilities across Comal ISD
Funds for Campus Reinvestment for program enhancements.

Proposition B
Athletic Facilities - Program Enhancement

Canyon High School Fieldhouse/Wrestling Facility, Golf Practice Facility; New Tennis Center
Mountain Valley Middle School Football Laser grading
Smithson Valley High School Fieldhouse with girls/boys soccer locker room and girls/boys wrestling/lacrosse facility‚Äč

Proposition C
Stadium Expansions

Projects will increase stadium capacity at Canyon Lake and Davenport High to 5,000 seats and include press box improvements.Proposition D
Student & Teacher Instructional Technology/Network Infrastructure

Bond 2021 will provide funding for teacher and student instructional technology. This includes both teacher and student laptops and computers.
